Nandhidhaa is National Under 17 Girls Champion
Tamil Nadu's P V Nandhidhaa emerged the National Under 17 Girls Champion scoring a huge 10.5/11 at 24th National Under 17 Open & Girls Chess Championship-2013 (Assam) that concluded yesterday. WIM Norm holder Michelle Catherina finished runner-up with an impressive 10/11 score, giving TN its second medal in the Girls section.

Darsana triumph in National U-7 Girls
Tamil Nadu's M S Darsana lifted the girl's title after signing peace with Delhi's Kaamya Negi in the last round. Darsana, from Erode, finished with 9.5 points while Maharashtra's Tanisha Boramanikar and Sanskruti Wankhade finished second and third respectively.
